The Chappaquiddick Wampanoag Tribe is one of the four tribute tribes of the island of Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts. The other Wampanoag Tribes with ancestral homes on the island are the Deep Bottom, the Christiantown and the Aquinnah. Today, Chappaquiddick Wampanoag people live mostly in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, in the ancestral homelands of the Wampanoag Nation.

The Chappaquiddick Wampanoag believe in the cycle of life. That coming together is the beginning, keeping together is progress and working together is success that can only be bonded together by our Creator. It is our duty to act upon these beliefs.

In 1995, the Tribal leaders formed a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, The Chappaquiddick Tribe Of The Wampanoag Indian Nation, Corp., to promote cultural preservation. The mission is to be carried out through programs in tribal history, practice of sacred customs and traditions, embracing our Wampanoag language, and repatriation and protection of ancestral burial sites
